Happy 4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July!  We were able to spend the entire day as a family.  First stop was Garden City for Mason's first trip to the beach.  Daddy took him out to the ocean for the very first time, and Mason didn't know what to think.  However, like typical Mason it didn't take him long to warm up to the water.  Of course, I think the highlight of the beach day for him was the SAND! 

Later that day we stopped by The Bourne's to enjoy the view of the inlet.  Mason continued to enjoy the day...playing and laughing.  We headed home in time for bedtime; no fireworks this year, but I am sure he will be excited to see them next year when he is a little older. 

Father's Day 2012

 

Ryan had his 1^st Father’s Day with Mason this year! I got him a gift card so he could buy some new tools (can’t go wrong with that), and Mason got him some framed pictures of him in his camouflage gear spelling out DAD. SO CUTE! J

We enjoyed a Father’s Day dinner at Dead Dog Saloon and then took a walk on the marsh walk.  Fat Jack Band (the band that played at our wedding) was playing at Spud’s, and we were SO EXCITED to see them.  They all meet Mason for the 1^st time, and of course took turns holding him.  Great day!!!!

Summertime Begins!

We are looking forward to a Summer of fun!  I have finished all my coursework for grad. school and of course, no work until August.  We hope to have many beach trips and pool days.  Just being at home and relaxing is also good! :)  Mason has already had his first pool experience, and Mason and Molly continue to feel each other out at home.

A Few FIRST Events

I helped host a baby shower for my sweet friend, Kristen Bennett Miller on April 28, 2012.  This was Mason's FIRST baby shower (other than his own..hehe!) and his FIRST overnight stay in Cheraw.

I had a wonderful first Mother's Day.  I got a brand new ceiling fan (which I have been wanting for a while) and sweet foot prints from Mason.  The boys did a great job! :)

Memorial Day Weekend....This was also Mason's FIRST....He celebrated by turning 7 months old!   He also went to the marsh walk for the FIRST time and enjoyed happy hour at Spuds. Ryan and I also met on Memorial Day weekend six years ago!

Easter 2012

We had a wonderful 1^st Easter with Mason.  The Easter Bunny came and brought Mason a basket full of summertime essentials.  He got his 1^st life jacket for the boat, sunscreen, flip-flops, and lots more. 

 

 

All three of us went to church and came home to a house full of family.  Papa Buckshot, Cindy, Granny Brigman, Granny Grace, Uncle Alex, Aunt Marchell, and Cousin Ethan came from Cheraw for Easter lunch.

Later that day Grandma Carolyn, Papa Mickey, Aunt Amy, and Uncle Joey stopped by.  They delivered a 2^nd Easter basket and a BEAUTIFUL chair handmade by Grandma Carolyn and Grandpa Mickey.

                                    

Spring Break 2012!

I recently had Spring Break, and it was exactly that…a break!  We didn’t do anything too exciting, just hung around the house and enjoyed the nice weather (at the beginning of the week.)  Mason loves hanging out on the back patio as well as strolling around the neighborhood.

Update on the Camerons (Spring is Here)

All is well in the Cameron household.  Mason Ryan is such a blessing and growing so fast!   We had a great 4 month check up....everything looked great and we have a healthy 15 lb. baby!  He is still a morning baby, waking up every morning with a HUGE smile on his face!  Baby boy has been rolling over for about 2 weeks now and is spending much more time on his tummy.  We started spoon feeding him rice cereal at night, and he is all about the spoon.  Veggies will be in the near future for him.

Momma and daddy are both working hard.  The school year will begin to fly by, especially after our Spring Break in April.  I am down to my last 2 graduate classes.  I will be done with School Law in May and will take finance online right after.  The plan is to intern at Waccamaw Intermediate School in the fall and at my home school, Waccamaw Middle in the Spring.  Then I will graduate in May 2013!!!

Ryan did quite a few duck mounts this season and is getting better and better!  He is has also gotten a couple of opportunities to go fishing this year.  He went this past week and got a good amount of flounder for the freezer :)

Looks like it is going to be a great Spring...Mason's first Easter, my 30th birthday, a baby shower for my dear friend, Kristen, Spring break for me,  and more fishing for daddy! Life is good.
